Treating Oxycontin Addiction:

OxyContin’s chemical, or generic, name is oxycodone. It is a powerful opiate that is prescribed for the treatment of moderate to extreme pain. It is often used carefully and effectively, yet it does have a high risk of abuse. This addiction may lead to liver damage, circulatory issues and failure, and several other life-threatening issues. Our evidence-based treatment programs and therapies at Arizona Rehab Campus (ARC) effectively assist patients in overcoming this painful addiction.

An End to OxyContin Addiction

OxyContin typically affects users physically, making it imperative to begin treatment with a medically supervised detox in order to go through withdrawal symptoms as comfortably and safely as possible. Clients are always monitored during detox; medication may be administered in order to help withdrawal symptoms. Patients reside in their rooms prior to detox and receive daily therapy sessions with individualized plans. We only administer treatment that has been medically proven to be safe.

The program at ARC uses:

  • Initial medically supervised detox to achieve baseline health
  • Private room accommodation
  • Personal counselor
  • Individual therapy daily
  • Treatments (as needed): CBT, motivational interviews & mindfulness, family therapy, relapse prevention, 12-step support
