Michael Zipprich is a real estate/development executive with a 40-year career in recognizing opportunity and responding to the need-for- demand. In 2014, he acknowledged that the opioid crisis was creating a substantial shortage of treatment facilities and beds. Throughout 2014-2016, Michael put extensive research into evaluating the addiction industry and identified market places to start America’s Rehab Campuses. The company was formed and the first campus with 207 beds was opened in Tucson, Arizona on December 2016.

Chief Executive Officer Franklyn Jeans is a Member of Arizona Rehab Campus’ parent company, Americas Rehab Campuses, LLC, and serves as its General Counsel.  He joined the ARC companies in 2019.  In addition to practicing law in Arizona, Nevada and California, Mr. Jeans has served as CEO of numerous businesses during his 60+ year career including companies involved in communications, fermented malt beverages, industrial maintenance, banking, real estate, natural resource development and agriculture.

Dr. Alsbiei Talal board certified in Internal Medicine, I grew up in Damascus Syria, after graduating high school in Damascus, I attended Lodz university medical school in Lodz Poland, after graduation I completed my first Internal medicine residency at Jonscher’s hospital, soon after I came to the US in 1996 and after completing my US exams I received my ECFMG certificate, soon after I completed a year of research at Hines VA hospital “functional recovery and Neuroanatomical plasticity middle cerebral artery occlusion and IN-1 antibody treatment in the adult rat” published in Annals of Neurology 19 February 2002.

In 2004 I completed my residency program in Internal Medicine at both Loyola University Medical Center and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Since then I’ve been working as a primary care physician and consultant hospitalist. At the same time I practice as an inpatient rehab MD at St Mary’s Hospital and manage patients at a behavioral unit.

Diana Verdugo, is a graduate of Grand Canyon University. She has worked in the medical field in Southern Arizona for the past 20 years in community health, hospital and clinic settings. Since moving to Tucson in 2015, Diana has practiced as a primary care provider for the behavioral health and substance abuse population. Together, with the team at America’s Rehab Campuses, her goal is to provide quality care medical detox services to clients in a non-judgmental, healing environment.

Vance Johnson is a former wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, having played with the team from 1985 to 1995. At the height of his career, Vance was in the throes of an addiction to alcohol and various recreational drugs. This continued for decades, and his experience even led him into a 28-day, medically induced coma. But even after this harrowing ordeal, it would be a long time before Vance achieved long-term sobriety.

Today, Vance is drug and alcohol free and encouraging others to get sober. As a Recovery Ambassador for America’s Rehab Campuses, Vance participates in speaking engagements across the country, where he recounts his struggles and offers hope that truly anyone can get sober.

Tucson local Chantelle Figueroa serves her community as Clinical Director at ARC. Chantelle has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Arizona, Masters of Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University, and is a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor in the state of Arizona. Her professional and educational experience includes conducting research in the Poverty in Tucson Project through the Sociology Department at University of Arizona, working as a Liaison for youth without housing, being of service in recovery community support groups, prevention and harm-reduction, and providing therapeutic services in both residential and outpatient settings.

As a person in recovery and Clinical Director at the ARC, Chantelle has turned her passion for therapeutic work and built a career around meeting the individual needs of clients through empowerment. Her experience has provided her the opportunity to work with at-risk communities, diverse populations, and persons struggling with substance use, providing both an individual and group approach. Chantelle believes every person is worthy of recovery and achieving goals, and dedicates herself to providing the utmost support to clients at every step of their journey.

Magaly Arevalo

Magaly Arevalo is the Director of Human Resources and Recruitment for Arizona Rehab Campus. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2014, where she then started her career in behavioral health at Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital. She began working at Arizona Rehab campus in April 2017, where she has been successful in her professional growth.  She imbodies the belief that she is always searching for ways to improve and strives to do so on a daily basis.  She is passionate about her job, as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Other members of the ARC team include:

  • Patients, clients and their families — Your passion to improve your quality of life is the backbone of our practice
  • Rehabilitation care coordinators are specialized nurses that will direct your treatment from the time you arrive to the time you go out into the world as a stronger, healthy and sober person.
  • Rehabilitation nurses ensure that the skills you learn in therapy and treatment become habit and lifestyle
  • Registered dietitians and chefs plan a healthy diet and advise you on a nutrition path to keep you healthy
  • Medical social workers provide emotional support, identify economic resources and community agencies and help you make arrangements to leave the hospital and find follow-up care.
  • Vocational case coordinators help you build a new foundation for your professional life after your journey through the ARC –  key component to staying sober.
